African Cup of Nations and EPL UPDATE:


Semi Final:
Zambia 1 Ghana 0
Zambia now progress through to the final against Ivory Coast or Mali on Sunday.
The Black Stars' hopes of their first ACON trophy for over 30 years is gone after they lost 1-0 earlier today.
Their last match in the tournament is on Saturday where they have a 3rd vs 4th Play-off match.

The other semi-final will be played later where captain and Chelsea striker Didier Drogba hopes to lead his side to the final on Sunday against captain Seydou Keita of Barcelona.


Monday's EPL Results:
Liverpool 0 Tottenham Hotspur 0

A goalless draw at Anfield sees Spurs stay in 3rd place, 5 points behind 2nd placed Manchester United while Liverpool stick in 7th, picking up their 9th draw of the season (the fifth highest in the EPL)

EPL News:
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has been cleared of tax evasion and now is the odds on favourite to become the next England manager.

Barcelona have confirmed that they have come to London nine times to see Tottenham winger Gareth Bale in the last four months.
They have revealed that they are ready to sell three youngsters to Arsenal and Chelsea to help fund for Spurs' transfer demands.
Isaac Cuenca and Cristian Tello (to Arsenal) and Jonathan Dos Santos (to Chelsea).

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is ready to make a £45million summer swoop for Lille winger Eden Hazard and Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge.

Newcastle striker Leon Best's x-ray scan shows that he has suffered a knee ligament injury in the 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Sunday. He is out for up to two months.

In-form striker Demba Ba insists he will not quit Newcastle, saying such talk makes him 'smile'. The Senegal striker has a £10m release clause in his contract.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has no intention of apologising to Manchester United defender Patrice Evra on Saturday when the two sides meet over the race row which led to his eight-game suspension.
