Tuesday Night EPL News:



Hello and welcome to my Tuesday Night EPL News:

This will include some more transfer news and the latest from the Olympics and the EPL teams who will play some friendlies over the next month.

BREAKING NEWS:
Chelsea defender and captain John Terry called QPR defender Anton Ferdinand a racist obscenity in response to tauts about his alleged affair with Wayne Bridge's ex-girlfriend, a court has heard.
Terry allegedly called Ferdinand a 'f****** black c**t'. 

What did you say: Chelsea defender John Terry and QPR defender Anton Ferdinand having words last October in the match between Chelsea and QPR.


The trial is expected to last five days at Westminister Magistrates Court. Terry faces a maximum fine of £2,500 if found guilty but will be spared a jail term. 


Terry has denied claims that he was racist to Anton Ferdinand and believes that he is being accused of racism.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has signed a new five-year contract at City, to end speculation of a move to International team Russia on a £35million contract... 

More to come yet: Mancini has signed a new five-year contract atCity, believing that he can still win more silverware.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger hs admitted that Italian club Fiorentina have made an offer for Marouane Chamakh.


Manchester City defender Micah Richards has not regrets about missing Euro 2012 and cannot wait to represent Great Britain at the London Olympics later this month.


Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs has been named as Team GB's captain.


Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been named in the Uruguay 2012 Olympic squad along with (Liverpool) team-mate and defender Sebastian Coates.


Arsenal are set to take French youngster M'Baye Niang on trail, but his new coach at Caen has told him not to go.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has warned the rest of the EPL that prolific striker Darren Bent is fit and raring to go for next season.

Tottenham are set to complete the signing of Ajax defender and captain Jan Vertonghen for around £10-12million after agreeing personal terms.
They have agreed a fee with Ajax and the deal has been confirmed subject to a medical. 

Chelsea have had a £17million bid for Bayer Leverkusen striker Andre Schurrle rejected.
 

FACT: Arsenal captain and striker Robin Van Persie has been the MOST rumoured player in the WORLD over the last week.
