EPL Transfer Done Deals #2

Hello and welcome to part 2 of the EPL's Done Deals and Rumours where all 20 clubs are trying to do their transfer business quite early on so they can gel together and get to know each other ready for the new season to start in the second week in August...

Here are the updated done deals from three weeks ago, starting the 9th of June:

Andy Carroll - £15million pounds to West Ham from Liverpool

Key role: West Ham striker Andy Carroll has signed for The Hammers on a permament 6-year deal for £15m.

Young English striker Andy Carroll has impressed on his season-long loan move to West Ham after an inflated price saw him on the fringes at Liverpool at the back end of last season. He has been snapped up quickly and will be a big part of The Hammers plan next season as they look to build on their first season in the EPL.

Luis Alberto - £6.5million pounds to Liverpool from Sevilla

Liverpool have stepped up in their youth development, signing former Barcelona and now Sevilla U-21 striker Luis Alberto to bolster their attacking force as they try and accommodate for the rumours that Luis Suarez wants to leave the club.

Efficiency: Liverpool have signed 4 players already this window, including young striker Luis Alberto for £6.5m.

Dejan Lovren - undisclosed fee (around £7-8million) to Southampton from Lyon

Great, strong and potential signing for Southampton, signing young defender Dejan Lovren from Lyon, who was wanted by many top European clubs.

Great capture: Defender Dejan Lovren has signed for Southampton as The Saints prove they mean business.

Nicklas Helenius - undisclosed fee (around £1million) to Aston Villa from Aalborg

Thibaut Courtois - season-long loan to Atletico Madrid from Chelsea

3rd loan spell for the Belgian: Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is staying at boyhood club Atletico Madrid again.

Courtois is going to stay at Atletico Madrid for the 3rd season running after signing for Chelsea, who is currently 2nd choice to Czech Republic goalkeeper Petr Cech.

Carlos Tevez - £10million pounds to Juventus from Manchester City

Mobbed: Carlos Tevez is mobbed as he arrives in Italy ahead of his medical at Juventus...

Prestigious number: Carlos Tevez joins some of the Juve legends to wear the number 10 shirt, can he perform?

Tevez completes his controversial 7-year stay in England, joining Italian giants Juventus for a cut-price fee of £10million pounds. He played for West Ham, Manchester United and Manchester City - and moves with the intent of being a clinical striker in another big European league after not having a decent spell of first-team football last season at City, playing from the bench for the most part.

Andre Schurrle - £17million pounds to Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen

Chelsea have completed the £17million pound signing of German winger Andre Schurrle, who has played fantastically over the past two seasons in the Bundesliga, and has impressed all over Europe.

It is no secret that The Blues have wanted to sign him, before they signed Hazard and Marin they were already interested in the young forward but Bayer Leverkusen were not prepared to sell their best player. They have finally given up Schurrle, as he has said that he wants to play in England, with Chelsea the only club that has shown direct interest in him.

Erik Peters - £3.5million pounds to Stoke City from PSV Eindhoven

First signing of the summer for Stoke, who have completed the signing of solid left-back Erik Peters from the Eredivisie for a small fee of £3.5million pounds. He will be a decent signing, and a much needed reinforcement for the club as their defence needs strengthening.

Andrey Arshavin - free transfer to Zenit St. Petersburg from Arsenal

The small Russian winger has left Arsenal on a free transfer back to his homeland, and his former club Zenit after being released. He had an inconsistent time at The Gunners, with the highlight of his time with the club being his 4-goal spree against Liverpool in 2009. Apart from that he has been a bench warmer over the last few seasons, and his contract has not been extended so as a result he has decided to return back to Zenit.

Simon Mignolet - £7.5million pounds to Liverpool from Sunderland

Done deal: Simon Mignolet poses with his new Liverpool jersey after sealing a £7.5million switch to Anfield.

Great signing for The Reds, they mean business in the transfer window that's for sure! Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet had an amazing season for Sunderland last season, virtually keeping them in the EPL as well as keeping a lot of clean sheets throughout the campaign. His impressive performances mean that he has been subject to interest from many clubs all over Europe.

It will be interesting to see what transpires next at The Kop, with Pepe Reina rumoured to move to Barcelona over the next few weeks and Brendan Rodgers stepping in to at least provide some stiff competition over the Number 1 jersey unless Reina leaves the club, where Mignolet will become no.1 as the Spainsh veteran has been inconsistent over the past few seasons..

EUROPEAN TRANSFER:

Isco - £15million pounds to Real Madrid from Malaga:

Spanish side Real Madrid have signalled their intent in regaining their Liga BBVA title by signing one of the hottest young midfield prospects in the world in Isco, who played spectacularly for Spain at the Under 21 Championships a couple of weeks ago...

Top class at his age: New Real Madrid young midfielder Isco played a big role in Spain's U-21 Championships.

Real have shown Barca they can also buy young starlets after their rivals signed Neymar earlier this month.

They fought off stiff competition from Manchester City to sign the young midfielder who was the star behind Malaga's success in both the league and European competition last season.

I will have a preview of all the top leagues next month before the football season starts, but that is it for part 2 of the EPL Transfer Done Deals and Rumours... Thank you for reading, don't forget to suscribe! :)
