EPL Super Saturday LIVE:

Hello and welcome to my EPL Super Saturday LIVE with 6 matches being played today in England including Manchester United vs QPR and Arsenal vs Aston Villa as the evening kick-off.

Here was the 12:45pm kick-off:

Sunderland 2 West Bromwich Albion 4

The home side Sunderland hosted an in-form West Brom at The Stadium Of Light. They trailed by two goals to nil at half-time thanks to goals by Zoltan Gera and Shane Long.

Bullet: Zoltan Gera hits a half-volley to make it 1-0 in the 30th minute and score his 3rd goal this season.
Surprise pack of the season: West Brom celebrate Gera's goal to break the deadlock.

Stoke v FulhamStoke: Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross, Huth,Shotton, Walters, Nzonzi, Whelan, Etherington, Adam, Crouch. Subs: Sorensen, Palacios, Jones, Whitehead, Upson, Kightly, Jerome.
Fulham: Schwarzer, Riether, Hughes, Senderos, Riise, Baird, Sidwell, Karagounis, Dejagah, Berbatov, Petric. Subs: Etheridge, Kelly, Kasami, Duff, Diarra, Rodallega, Banya.

The shock at half-time was that goalkeeper Simon Mignolet failed to pick up the ball, and was punished by Long.

Cringeworthy: West Brom striker Shane Long takes advantage of a mistake by Mignolet to give The Baggies a 2-0 lead.
Easy goal for me: Long celebrates scoring his 5th goal of the season.

In the second half, Sunderland played much better, and started to pressure West Brom's defence.

The problem for them was that they were not able to test 2nd team 'keeper Boaz Myhill well, until the 73rd minute when midfielder Craig Gardner had a powerful free-kick from 30 yards out which deflected off the wall to spin into the net to make it 2-1.

Good effort: Sunderland midfielder Craig Gardner hits the top corner with a free-kick which deflected off the wall.
Back in it: Gardner celebrates his goal with Adam Johnson to make it 2-1 with 15 minutes to go.
The match turned to controversy in the 80th minute, when defender Liam Ridgewell ran into the box before getting clipped by Adam Johnson inside the 16-yard box.

A penalty was given, and on-loan striker Romelu Lukaku had no problem dispatching the ball into the far corner of the net to make it 3-1 and almost kill off Sunderland's hopes of getting back into the match.

It's me again: Striker Romelu Lukaku dispatches a penalty to make it 3-1 to score his 4th goal for West Brom.

But, the match was not over, in the 86th minute when midfielder Stephane Sessegnon scored from 3 yards out to give Sunderland late hope of an equaliser.

Poacher: Stephane Sessegnon hits a strike from 3 yards out to make it 3-2 with 4 minutes to go.

There were 4 minutes of stoppage time to be played, and despite the old timewasting tricks by West Brom, they ended up scoring again in the last minute of time thanks to a great pass and move which was finished nicely by midfielder Marc-Antoine Fortune.

Game over: Striker Marc-Antoine Fortune curls the ball past Mignolet to make it 4-2 to West Brom.

West Brom move up to 3rd place, above Chelsea while Sunderland stay stuck in 15th place.

FACT: If it stays like this, it would be Stoke's 3rd home win of the season.

15:36 - GOAL UPDATE:

Wigan 0 Reading 1

Young centre-back Sean Morrison has given the away side the lead after 35 minutes.
1-0 to Reading, and as it stands this will be Reading's 1st away win of the season.

Manchester United vs QPR:

QPR striker Jamie Mackie breaks the deadlock to make it 1-0 in the 52nd minute from 3 yards out!

Shock at OT: Striker Mackie wheels away to celebrate his goal against Manchester United to make it 1-0.

What a shock so far at OT, and if it stays like this, then QPR would have won their first match of the season with a new manager Harry Redknapp who stays in the stands for today.

16:18:

DW Stadium,
Wigan vs Reading:

Striker Jordi Gomez has given Wigan an equaliser after 58 minutes. 1-1, and Reading are starting to crumble now.....

Manchester United 2 QPR 1

A special moment for Scottish midfielder Darren Fletcher, who has started his first match for over 12 months in the EPL after having bowel disease problems in November 2011.

He has just scored to make it 2-1, and now United look to close out the match with just over 20 minutes to play.

So much for the QPR shock...

GOAL UPDATE - Wigan 2 Reading 1. Jordi Gomez has doubled his tally for the day to give the hosts the lead for the first time in the match against Reading at The DW Stadium.

16:32:

GOAL UPDATE - Oh dear...

Striker and 'super sub' Javier Hernandez scoring the goal.

16:38:

The DW Stadium,
Wigan vs Reading:

Reading have equalised in the 80th minute to make it 2-2.

It sounds as though it has been a howler and bad own goal from Wigan goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi who has parried the ball up into the air and the ball has hit the crossbar before hitting him on the back and going into the net.

10 minutes to go, and the match could swing either way.

FACT: Everton have not played a match without conceding since September.

FULL-TIME SCORES:

Wigan 3 Reading 2
A Jordi Gomez hat-trick allowed the home side to take all three points against Reading despite going behind.

Everton 1 Norwich 1
David Moyes will not be happy with his side, after they failed to close the match after going 1-0 up at home to Norwich.

They have now drawn 6 matches this season, and they failed to put the pressure on 4th placed Chelsea who are three points ahead of them and also play tomorrow against Manchester City.

Stoke 1 Fulham 0
Stoke are now unbeaten at home in 13 matches, after midfielder Charlie Adam's striker halfway through the first half.

However, QPR's poor defence showed through the cracks and Evans, Fletcher and Hernandez all scored to send United to the top of the table, 2 points ahead of local Manchester rivals Manchester City who play Chelsea tomorrow in a mouthwatering encounter from 4pm.

Equaliser: Manchester United defender Jonny Evans heads United into a 1-1 scoreline.
Back: Midfielder Darren Fletcher heads United into a 2-1 win to score his first goal in over 12 months.
Special day: Fletcher celebrates his goal on an emotional return to the EPL for United.
Super sub: Javier Hernandez scores to end the match and make it 3-1 to the hosts.

Strikes again: Hernandez celebrates his 5th goal of the season with team-mate Anderson.

Now, former Tottenham and Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp will have his hands full as he tries to get his new club out of the danger (relegation) zone.
