UEFA Champions League Group Stage Results and Matches LIVE:


Yesterday's Group Stage Champions League Matches:

Arsenal 0 Marseille 0
It was a goaless draw at The Emirates Stadium as both teams took a point.

Racing Genk 1 Chelsea 1
Both teams earned a point as Chelsea stayed top of Group F. Ramires broke the deadlock for The Blues in the 23rd minute. Defender David Luiz missed a penalty to put Chelsea 2-0 up. Vossen equalised for Genk in the 61st minute and Genk almost won the match on several occasions but in the end it ended 1-1.

Lionel Messi scored a penalty and hat-trick as the defending champions cruised to a 4-0 victory. Cesc Fabregas also scored for Barcelona.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a goal for Milan in the 22nd minute. Robert Bressan scored to equalise for Borisov in the 55th minute.

City midfielder Yaya Toure scores his first City goal since the F.A. Cup final against Stoke! Nice finish, as he cut inside and ran past the defender. Keeper had no chance.

FACT: This is the first time this season that City have scored first in a match the CL.

HALF TIME:

Goals from Yaya Toure and Mario Balotelli put the away side ahead at half-time. Villareal are not laying very well and the Europa League looks like a lifeline for them.

Valencia scored the only goal of the mtach so far int he 8th minute. Will United score more? Will Galati equalise?

Mario Gomez scored a hat-trick so far as Bayern are leading by 3-1. Fernandez scored for Napoli just before half-time to give Napoli a lifeline.

Rodrigo scored the only goal for Benfica in this match so far in the 4th minute.

Luis Antonio Valencia and Wayne Rooney scored the goals for Untied as they beat Galati by 2-0 at Old Trafford.

Villarreal 0 Manchester City 3
City cruised to a 3-0 win away from home against Villarreal and could have scored many more goals. They are currently second in their group with 7 points behind Bayern Munich. If they beat Napoli in a fortnight, they will qualify for the knock out stages. Villarreal on the other hand, have not earned a point from their four group stage matches.

Mario Gomez scored a hat-trick to put Bayern in front. Fernandez pulled one back for Napoli just before the break and scored again after the break but it was too late for Napoli to salvage something from the game and in the end the score was 3-2. There was two red cards in the match and eight cards in total, it was a very heated match.

Inter Milan 2 Lille 1
Walter Samuel and Diego Milito scored for Milan before Tulio De Melo pulled one back for Lille. It proved to be a late consolation goal as Milan took all three points.

Lyon 0 Real Madrid 2
Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Madrid qualified for the knockout stages. He scored in both halves, in the 24th minute to break the deadlock and in the 62nd minute from a penalty.

Ajax 4 Dynamo Zagreb 0
Four different scorers including Gregory Van De Wiel and De Jong for Ajax as they thrashed Zagreb 4-0.

Benfica 1 Basel 1
Rodrigo broke the deadlock for the home side in the 4th minute. Huggel equalised in the 67th minute and the result was 1-1.

 FACT: This means that Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored 100 goals for Real since moving from United for £80million in 2009.
FACT: This is the first time that an English team has beaten Villarreal in the CL at home.
